The Black Graduate Women's Association was founded to promote black graduate women visibility on campus, and strengthen the relationships between black women graduate students from all disciplines.

CAPS and BGWA are coming together for Mindfulness Mondays!

We will be meeting in the Graduate Student Center - 3rd floor conference room. Our session will tackle the following topics:

  • Exploring the impact of oppression on women
  • Fostering a sense of community and empowerment
  • Providing wellness practices for managing stress
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

As part of the Gradfest festivities, come meet members of GAPSA's IDEAL Council and learn more about our university-wide initiatives.

Food, drinks, and IDEAL swag! Hope to see you there!

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Come down to College Green and learn more about graduate student organizations at Penn! All IDEAL organizations will be represented. Stop by and say hello!

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Come together to study with friends in a supportive atmosphere. We will also be holding a general meeting from 7:30 - 8:30 for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the group and leadership positions. Join us to study, connect, and contribute your thoughts to the future direction of BGWA!
